Kisi is one of the most important varietal discoveries of Georgia in the last decade. It is already cultivated all over Kakheti, although it is mostly found in the villages of Akhmeta. Our wine is made from Akhmeturi Kisi, from grapes picked in the village of Ozhio. This traditional Kakhetian wine is golden amber in color. It first reveals a sweet aroma, with notes of tropical fruits and dried fruit (e.g. dried banana). It is a soft, structured wine with light tannins and pleasant acidity. Our 2022 vintage Kisi has recently awarded a Silver Medal (91 Pts.) at IWSC 2024.

Food pairing: The cuisine of Eastern Georgia comes first, as it entails a lot of meat: Khashlama, Chakapuli, stews. Good with fried chicken and Satsivi. Also goes well with walnut-seasoned and flavored dishes.
